Blog Post 16- Questions To Ask

An interview is where someone is asking specific questions and them being answered in  a specific way to either influence the audience or entertain them. It is a structured conversation between two or more people where the interviewer is asking questions to gain information and provide feedback to audiences while the person being interviewed or the interviewee gives the answers to each question. Interviews for documentaries are mostly consisted of Q&As, where the questions are mostly going to be based off of expirences or something that has happened, possibly something that can and that they plan to happen in the future. These can be in person which is most common or for editing purposes a zoom call which can also be extremley benefical. In the image below you can see the how the two could be a video phone call and later on that can be edited in a cool way to create a more entertaining

For my interview i am going to have the interviwee sit in a seat with the navy base in the background, while i ask him the following questions. How hard are things on the ship daily? Do you think life could be easier with your family? How often do you miss your family? And are you needed at home? These questions will bring a large emotional factor to the audience which will keep them entertained the whole time and hopefully curious
