Blog Post 11- Colors From The Navy Perspective
After long research and discussions with people in the navy there main colors are white, navy and grey, so most of the shots from the ship and near my stepfather will need to be in those color ranged to get logic within the audiences so it all makes sense. For each color im going to explain its meaning, and provide a picture and reasoning.
White can be used to show care, it is mainly used when things use a small amount of color, white often resembles purity and how it is hard to mix. This can be shown throw there clothing with the slight pop of collar in the tie but the rest of there outfit is plain and simple, which can be more classy to show respect and cleanliness
Navy is a dark tone blue that in the military is mosr know for it meaning for authority and seriousness, as being one of the higher authorities in America it is chosen for uniforms and more professional settings like this because it can show off confidence respect. In a more emotional context, navy can signify control, responsibility, and discipline, all of these qualities are important in a militray setting like in the photo below, the man wears navy to show repect aswell that the navy color directly ties to the ocean, this can show the idea of the powerful sea through the colors of there uniforms
The color gray on the ship shown below can be used to show professionalism and sternness, this color is used in professional settings like the military to create more sophistication, gray can evoke a sense of disipiline in a important enviroment, including the military. Militray vessels like boats, warships, submarines, and navy destroyers often are colored gray for camoflauge to be rarely seen by either enemies, Aswell there are manyb dofferen types of gray this is to remain camoflauged even when they are changing seas with the colored changes of the sea
