 Some background information on my mother, is that she has 3 children all different fathers, born in 2010, 2015, and 2019, She finally deceied to settle down and finalise her family by being married to my step father. He became apart of the family in 2023 but they just got married this year. Its hard for my mother to raise us on her own therefore having me step up when she needs help since her husband is not at home most of the time. Her lifestyle has changed multiple times from living in apartments, to town homes, and finally to a 5 bedroom house. She did that all by herself and hard word. She went from being and intern to now partically owning the company she worked for. Her daily life consists of waking up at 4;30 to work out and shower as well as start the kids lunches and get them up and ready for school. She drops the eldest off at the highschool and then leaves to go drop her other two younger children at their private school, then heads to work for her 8 hour shift with one...

 Some background information on what my stepfather does in the navy as a IT1. There are multiple different parts of the navy but my stepfathers is split into a couple different sections. like i said he is a IT1 which stands for information systems technician first class, his two qualifications are IW and AW which stand for information dominance warfare and air warfare. To sum those up he works on mostly everything related to communications and computers within his ship the USS Donald Cook stationed in Jacksonville Florida . The two different sides are the radio and the computer and network side, to start with the radio side he is the person that keep all communication systems up and running, an example could be the SATCOM radios, what this means is that he makes it so all other ships, aircrafts and bases can communicated no matter where in the world they are. my overall inspiration came from my mother and step father. To start with my mother, i first hand see how my mother has to raise and provide for three children all on her own without her husband, who lives three hours away. I can see with my eyes the struggles my mom goes through and cant imagine what it is like for other mothers who may be less fortunate in all aspects of life.  Broadcasting that to the world could bring in many audiences and a sense of sympathy to single mothers or wives of the military. Seeing my mothers struggles made me realize how many people relate or could relate to all mothers having to raise a child or children on their own, or even the depression that can come from being away from there loved ones.  As well as my stepfather, who is in the military, as he can also relate to being far away from loved ones espically during the hoilday's, but he could also show his past where he is working all time and how diffucult his work may be. he comes home and co...

 After some research I have came to a conclusion on the different types of settings i need to use to appeal to the audiences emotions using pathos, using pathos i can keep the audience interested and emotionally entertained.  The first setting could be on the military boat, or around the military base, to provide logic and appeal to the background. Different spots like the  on the boat in the office or lunch room can show the daily life of the Person being interviewed. The boat is often where people work, or do daily things like track or keep guard. There can be many different types of places to show or interview for the military/ navy section of the documentary. By showing different backgrounds and areas it can further deepen the ideas of what people in the navy do each and every day.  The second setting could be at home with the family and mother who is parenting all alone because of the distance, but not only just at home, even in the car, at the grocery store, or...

 For my final project i decided to create a documentary on how the lives of navy soldiers as well as there daily lives and how it effects there families at home. This project idea came from a more personal source as i am someone who has a family member in the navy. Learning what there daily lives are like can provide a sense of sympathy as well as for the families who are missing apart of there families. I believe this documentary could bring in many different audiences as well as keep audiences entertained with an emotional aspect. I plan to show the two different lifestyles of a family, between a mom with her 3 kids and a husband who can never be home since he is always on duty. Learning about the daily life or weeks for a navy soldier can be emotional for people who do not understand or even people who are familiar with the topic which can create an even more emotional atmosphere.
